My name is Katia Araujo.  I obtained my Masters, Doctorate and Post Doctorate degrees in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University (NSU), Fort Lauderdale Fl.

 I’ve tailored my education to gain specific training in the following areas:

I am a Cognitive Behavioral Therapist and Trainer specialized in Mood and Anxiety disorders, relationship issued, and addiction. My Practice within the Fort Lauderdale, FL is dedicated to help adult individuals and couples re-discovering that they can live a proactive and happier life. I have worked in several hospitals within the South Florida Area including University Hospital (University Psychiatric Pavilion) and University of Miami Medical Center (Jackson Memorial Hospital) where I have provided a variety of Psychological services to medical, psychiatric and organ transplant populations. I have also worked at the NSU Geriatric Institution providing psychological assessments, individual and group therapies to seniors 69 and older. 
Academically, I have facilitated traditional environment classes at Nova Southeastern University (NSU) and University of Miami Medical School. However, at this time I prefer to teach online campus courses, since they fit very well with my professional life style.  Courses I teach and  have touch in the past:
